Penis thrush/balanitis. Used 2.5 weeks canesten (2% clortimazole) switched to 1% hydrocortisone. Penis has began to blister, skin peel off normal?
No: Bacterial vaginal infecton will not be 'wiped away" with vagisil wipes, as the infection is inside the vagina and needs to be treated in that fashion. Moreover, many of these "feminine deoderant type" products contain perfume or irritants to the vulva when used repetively. ...Read more
Possibly...: However it depends on what the trash is from. If it is from friction and just general irritation, it could. However, i'd it is not, and from am infection of some sort, not likely. It will not hurt you though. Most likely if it does not improve, you should consider having your primary care or gyn doc give you a formal diagnosis. I hope that helps! ...Read more

1-2 wks?: Provided that the fungal infection is the cause for the irritation. We need to know also what kind of OTC creams you are using since some of them may actually irritate your skin further. If the yeast infection is not the cause, your skin will not heal until the actual cause has been taken of. ...Read more

Vaginal applicator: Generally medications placed vaginally (e.g. Anti-fungals, Premarin (conjugated estrogens) cream...) come with a 'vaginal applicator'. The applicator twists on to the tube of medicine and with a slight squeeze the applicator fills up. The applicator is then placed in the vagina after which the plunger on the applicator is pushed- expelling the medication into the vagina. Voila! ...Read more

You can, but...: ...Whether it works will depend on the cause. If it's due to a yeast infection, for example, the effect will be temporary at best. Still, it won't hurt to try, and if it doesn't work, see your doctor and find out the cause. And by the way, "maximum strength" is a marketing slogan; 1% hc cream is actually not very strong at all - it's just the maximum you can buy without a prescription. ...Read more
Used retin A (tretinoin) twice on penis head...skin burned, reddish and sore patches. applying Vaseline, moisturizer for 3 days. can I apply Betnovate ointment?
Stop: I have no idea why you want to put Retin A (tretinoin) on your penis head since there is no wrinkle there. If anything, try topical hydrocortisone for a few days to calm the inflammation down (I presume however that Betnovate is a brand of cortisone containing betamethasone . If so, it is ok to use it once a day for 3-4 days but no more). ...Read more
Can using candid B cream on vagina or labia cause infertility? My skin started peeling off a bit. Does this cream affect fertility?
Not likely: Topical anti-fungal cream like miconazole will not affect fertility. There may be small risk for toxicity to embryo and fetus if used during the first trimester because imidazoles are absorbed in small amounts from the vagina. Oral medication of this type should be avoided unless your welfare is at risk from the infection, and the medication is prescribed and closely monitored by your obstetrician ...Read more
