Doctor insights on:
Vaginal Wall Bleeding
Went to doc she couldn't see my vaginal wall cause bleeding but exterior was fine. Pain during sex but when I put my finger no pain. Herpes?
Unlikely: Herpes usually presents with lumps/bumps, which are painful. Don't really understand the issue with bleeding and not being able to see the vaginal wall. The differential diagnosis that accompanies painful intercourse (also know as dyspareunia) is vast. Anything from infection to endometriosis can be at work here.
During sex, I sustained a blunt force wound on my vaginal wall. The inch long gash is still bleeding a little, do I need stitches?
It's possible.: Depends on the location of the laceration and how much bleeding. This should be evaluated in person by a gynecologist exam. There are large blood vessels that run up the sides of the vagina and blood loss can be quite heavy. Repair may be needed. Other times simply packing with a couple of tampons will do the trick.
Ok so if a nail cut my vaginal wall and made it bleed. Is it anything that I can do to stop the burning? Please explain
Can part of your hymen remain attached to the vaginal wall? If so why would it bleed during intercourse and can it be removed?
Saw dr today re mild bleeding 2 weeks prior to period for 7 months, Dr saw red patch next to cervix on vaginal wall which bled, cancer? Truth please
Unlikely: A red patch, commonly cause an erosion, is not uncommon on the cervix. Your doctor has likely seen many such lesions and will take care of it. Please do get regular PAP tests. For good health- Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.
Usually normal: The rectum is just below the vagina. After childbearing, the tissue between the rectum and the vagina can be quite thin. If the rectum is full of stool, it can be felt through the vaginal wall. It would not be normal if the stool formed a huge uncomfortable bulge in the vagina. This is called a rectocele. Sometimes surgery is required to repair it if it is large. Best wishes.
Can be...: Some outbreaks are intensely painful. Pain tends to be worse with the very first outbreak. Clusters of painful ulcerations on the vaginal wall and lips are frequently Herpes Simplex. Best wishes!
Likely infection: See your doctor for an examination. This is important to determine cause and treatment
Both: Vaginal rugae (folds) can be seen intra-vaginally of the upper vaginal wall where the cystocele (under the fallen bladder) is located if the problem is mild to moderate. (1st or 2nd degree) If it is a 3 degree problem the vaginal wall will be "stretched out" and smooth as rugae will no longer be seen at that point.
36 yr old female with multiple tiny soft movable lumps in back of vaginal wall painless felt in vaginal and anus?
Can't tell w/o exam: Can't answer your inquiry without you being examined by a GYN MD to determine cause of the lumps.
I found a small fleshy bump inside the anterior part of my vaginal wall, it moves when I touch it. I just noticed it today. What could this be?
Normal: More than likely its your hymnal ring remnant. They teat in a variety of ways. Usually painless. Completely benign. If bothersome, see MD.
Semantics: I can't give you an answer, unless I knew exactly where the culture was taken from. Labs have a variety of names for things, and they are not "standardized".
Get it checked!: At your age, primary vaginal cancer is not likely. More commonly these are plugged glands or hair follicles or infections of the vaginal wall (HPV for example). Occasionally cancers (such as cervix or melanoma) can cause cancerous lumps in the vaginal wall. See a gynecologist or family doctor soon.
How do I know for sure that I have vaginal wall organ prolapse with rectocel as I suspect I have?
Examination: You go to a gynecologist for a complete female evaluation, this is rather easily evaluated.
Is there really a difference between saggy vaginal wall and prolapse? Can you have sagging WITHOUT prolapse?
Degrees: Saggy is a slang term. Prolapse is a medical term. Likely both are describing the same thing. Certainly different degrees of prolapse exist. An obgyn can do an exam to determine the degree of prelate present. That along with your symptoms would guide whether or not treatment was indicated.
