"im going to be having a vaginal biopsy tomorrow for my frequent infections i was told there is a possibility of having a vaginal mass why is that?"

I don't think I have ever done a vaginal biopsy for discharge though i often caution against the thong which can increase incidence and metro gel vaginal 1-2 times per week can be preventitive. Someting doesn't sound right, maybe the mass and discharge are seperate? ...Read more

Thick mass of tissue at vaginal opening. Never been able to use tampons b/c of blockage. What is this abnormality and how is it fixed. I'm a virgin.

Any : Any mass or lesion found that should not be there definitely warrants an investigation. You may be dealing with something like a cyst, tumor (benign or cancerous) or even a large wart. Whatever is present may or may not be related to your missed period. You will need a complete medical evaluation before this can be determined. Please see a doctor right away. Best of luck. ...Read more

I had a trans vaginal scan 9 months ago would that have picked up any fibroids if i had them? Results showed no cysts adenexal mass or free fluid

Fibroids: If you had a transvaginal sonogram and the uterus was normal at that time, it would be very unusual to develop fibroids that are symptomatic now. Still, a cyst can develop during that time and cause some symptoms. If you are concerned, you can see your physician and have this evaluated. ...Read more
