Vaginal Itching Symptom Of Early Pregnancy
Although i am taking anti fungal tablets my vaginal itching is not totally alright. In the course of 1o days its been 5 days and it still itches me.
Which tablets?: Pills for fungus---terbinafine-----are not effective for yeast. Usual yeast pill, fluconazole, is a single dose, sometimes repeated in a week. Yeast is certainly not the only cause of vaginal itch. Fungus is usually not that itchy. So see a GYN or dermatologist. You need to provide precise information about symptoms and about all pills or treatments. ...Read more

I have symptoms of intermittent vaginal itching/burning. I saw a gyn and all cultures were neg. At appt. I was not as bad but it is back. What should I do?
See a derm: Since you saw your gyn and cultures were all negative, i would advise you see a dermatologist next. Even though it is vulvar skin, it is still skin. If a biopsy is needed, he/she can perform that as well. You need some type of topical treatment to alleviate the itch, as well as the underlying problem. ...Read more
Vaginal itch: It could be something as simple as a new soap, detergent or fabric softener or feminine hygiene product. If no discharge - i would see if there is any new products you are using - anything that may have come in contact down there could cause itching. If its external - Benadryl (diphenhydramine) cream might help - if internal - a simple vinegar and water douche might help. ...Read more

Having vaginal itching where you shave at. No symptoms of chlamidya. Never had any problems with this before, what could it be?
Follicullitis: Since there's no hair in the vagina I assume the itching is in the public or external genital area. The skin there is sensitive but the hair is coarse. Shaving rashes are common. They usually resolve with mild topical steroid and/or antibiotics and taking a break from shaving. Red flag! If my assumption is wrong, then my advice is worthless. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
