I have vaginal burning/pain ll abdomen. All tests for infections are negative, yet treated with antibiotics and for yeast. I'm hurting so! Help!
"Fire in the hole": Obviously the gyn md needs to do a more thorough examination to determine why the burning is occurring. Eliminate harmful body washes, anti-bacterial soaps and scented pads or colored toilet paper. If there is still "fire in the hole" then additional testing can be done by the md. ...Read more
Could a tilted uterus cause vaginal burning and pain during sex I have never had an underlying STD just bacterial vaginitis and yeast infection?
See answer: ~20% of females born in the U.S. Have a tipped/tilted uterus which simply means that the uterus is not in a normal up and down placement but tipped forward or back in comparison to where it should be aligned. Though usually asymptomatic, it may be associated with pain during sex or menstruation. Vaginal burning unassociated with sex would not be a typical symptom. Gynecologist can provide answer. ...Read more

Went to Dr. With slight vaginal burning. No other pain or symptoms besides a strange urine smell and cloudiness took antbitotics now symptoms returned?
Depends: Would need to know what kind of antibiotic you took. If cipro (ciprofloxacin) or bactrim, its likely Dr treated you for a UTI. If Flagyl, then a bacterial vaginal infection. If Diflucan, then a vaginal yeast infection. Many women do get vaginal yeast infections though after taking antibiotics, and this could be what occurred for you. I suggest you notify your doctor. ...Read more

Stinging burning vaginal pain in the opening. And inside of lips. I don't see any abrasions or sores. Normal discharge. Was tested 2 months ago for trich, gonorhea, bv, and yeast. Only Bv came up positive. I'm so scared. Hurts to walk and sit?
Vaginitis: Your description suggests vaginitis. If you have no known trauma, have been avoiding all scented products, and have not been using any vaginal cleansers, wipes or sprays then Herpes is a possibility. I would follow up with your primary care doctor and have them check for Herpes (HSV) using the PCR method via urine to ensure proper diagnosis since you recently tested negative for several STDs. ...Read more
Severe vaginal burning, ll quad pain, not uti, std, yeast, products or sex. Painful/difficult urination. Long endo history/ hysterectomy. Kidney stone?
Atrophy?: Atrophic vaginitis or desquamative vaginitis can cause the vaginal symptoms, as can other infections besides yeast, like bacteria and viruses. The treatments are all very different, so you'd need a gyn specialist to sort it out. As far as the llq pain, it may or may not be related, but it could be caused by a stone, or an ovarian cyst. But a kidney stone wouldn't cause vaginal burning. ...Read more

I'm 37 weeks pregnant with vaginal burning and pelvic pain as well as what seems to be occasional vaginal leaking, is this normal?
No.: Pelvic pain in pregnancy can be normal due to requirements of your hip bones to shift to support the weight of your growing baby.
