Vaginal bleeding: Perhaps you have vaginal bleeding that is not related to your cycle. Go to a gynecologist (g) and have an ultrasound done of your uterus to see if your bleeding is coming from a bleeding fibroid. Have the g go over your hormonal levels and ask for the g's comments. Vaginal bleeding for 6 months is clearly not normal and your vaginal bleeding needs to be evaluated before you become severely anemic. ...Read more

Ultrasound can give us two-dimensional, and in some applications three-dimensional, images of structures and organs in virtually any part of the body. In addition to diagnostic uses, such as evaluating abnormalities in the abdomen, pelvis, and breast, ultrasounds are commonly used to guide needle and catheter placement in a variety of surgical ...Read more

Menorrhagia can be caused by abnormal blood clotting, disruption of normal hormonal regulation of periods, or disorders of the endometrial lining of the uterus. No, see OB.: Sexual arousal or even having sex will not harm the baby. Sex may cause complications in case the placenta is low in the uterus. Occasional mild bleeding in pregnancy is not uncommon. If is persists, you should consult your OB. I trust that for the sake of your and your baby's health you are seeing an OB. ...Read more

Vaginal ultrasouns showed 4cm hemoragic cyst on left ovary. Ive been seeing dried blood clots in urine midcycle . Could this be from the cyst?

No: Blood in urine is not from the ovarian cyst. Are the clots in urine of in vaginal fluid? Dried blood clots in urine are highly unlikely. You may wish to consult your doctor as the findings are inconsistent. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine. ...Read more
