Not sure of Question: If you have aphthous and/or herpes the palliative treatment is the same. Hot salt water rinses (1tsp salt/10 oz water) 4-5 times/day, 7-10 days. Herpes outside the mouth will benefit from Zovirax (acyclovir) or similar topical. See your Dentist if you get herpes, as there are immediate treatments which help if taken right away.
