Vaginal itch: It could be an STD or it could be a reaction to the topical yeast medication. I would definitely see your doctor and have her look at it, you will likely need a swab to rule out STD. ...Read more

Diagnosed yeast infection & BV treatments didn't work.. What could I hav dat makes the butt area feel like it's burning too & the vagina & outer area ?

Vagina pain: Okay Janet, you have vulvovaginitis and we don't know why. If it's not yeast or bacteria it could be viral, like herpes. If you haven't seen an Ob/Gyn then I would see one, they see more vaginal infections than most doctors and might recognize your problem. Worrisome: This can be as simple as a response to sitting in a soapy water tub.Kids that age do a mini-douche with dirty/soapy water every time they cross their legs.If its not properly rinsed,it drys and triggers itching/drainage. A couple days of soaks/rinsing in clean water will fix that.It could also be a UTI/retained foreign object/STD.I'd call the doc's office for some guidance. ...Read more
