Get to a : Drug store and get some hydrogen peroxide and mix it 50/50 with water. Do yourself a favor and consider losing the piercing. It will only lead to gum and teeth problems you haven't even begun to envision. Not a lecture, just a friendly professional opinion. Hope this helps. ...Read more

Blocked Saliva Gland: Any piercings that communicate with the oral cavity can be very damaging to the hard (teeth, bone) and soft (gum, tongue, lip, cheek) tissues. While i don't like to see these piercings, i recommend plastic instead of metal as this is slightly less traumatic to the tissues. It could simply be irritation or could have caused something else like a blocked salivary gland. See a dentist for evaluation. ...Read more

Could be: Biotene contains peppermint oil and egg\ milk bi products so if you have an allergy to either, don't use biotene. Biotene is used to treat xerostomia and is not used to cleanse tissues in the mouth. Try listerine or hydrogen peroxide. If the bumps persist, see a dentist for an exam. ...Read more
