At 20 weeks during a 3rd pregnancy, where is the top of the uterus usually located in relation to the belly button with a singleton pregnancy?

At 20 weeks: the uterus should be at the level of the belly button. This is measured with the patient reclining and relaxed by the obstetrician. This cannot be accurately measured while standing or by the patient herself ( even if she is an obstetrician-personal experience with this!). ...Read more

Issue after c-section i had a c-section about six weeks ago and I do not think my uterus has completely gone down to it's original size. I'm concerned that this may cause problems since my husband and i would like to start trying again for another baby in

Usually : Usually it takes 1 to 2 months for your uterus to involute or shrink down to a non pregnant size. However the size will always be larger after a term pregnancy and with a c-section the position of the uterus can change. It is only 6 weeks since your delivery so perhaps this is why but if it does not shrink soon you should go to see your health care provider to make sure there is not a uterine fibroid or other reason. Having a larger uterus because of a pregnancy does not prevent future pregnancies as long as the uterus is still a normal uterus. ...Read more

About right: Those dimensions, for a 30 year old, are well within the range of normal - but that does not guarantee there are no problems like fibroids, adenomyosis, cervical dysplasia, etc. ...Read more

I am 31 week pregnant, having didephly uterus.Baby weight is 4lb..Does uterus shape will effect baby in any way i mean size? Mental physical growth?

Didelphys uterus: If your baby is 4 pounds at 31 weeks, that is a very healthy and normal weight, actually higher than average at 31 weeks.
