Not necessarily: The sac is not 2 weeks behind, what you give is 1 week 1 day behind. This is 1 week's growth over 1 week. No one can say online whether your pregnancy is normal or not, but this looks likely normal to me if this was a spontaneous conception. The 154 heart rate is perfect. Stay calm and keep your upcoming visits, good luck. ...Read more

Bled whole pregnancy. At 7w(lmp) measured 6 weeks with small gestational sac. At 8w (lmp) measured 6w6d with sac at 4.5 weeks. HR 154. Miscarriage?

Bled whole pregnancy. At 7w(lmp) measured 6 weeks with small gestational sac. At 8w (lmp) measured 6w6d with sac at 4.5 weeks. HR 154. Miscarriage?

Not necessarily: Hi, Without seeing the ultrasounds it is a little confusing. At the first U/S, what was measuring 6wk?> the sac or the fetus, if they saw one. The second U/S would actually be reassuring; they measured a fetus at 6w6d (the difference from LMP would just mean your dates are off), but a fetal heart rate of 154 is reassuring. The continued bleeding is worrisome, but keep the faith! Good luck ...Read more

Vaginal ultrasound did not detect heartbeat at 6 weeks 4 days. Seen the sac and embryo. Risk of miscarriage?

Vaginal ultrasound did not detect heartbeat at 6 weeks 4 days. Seen the sac and embryo. Risk of miscarriage?

50/50: At this point i would say your chances are about 50/50. A vaginal sonogram at 6 weeks and 4 days can usually see a heartbeat; but if your dates are off a little, it could be too early. As long as you aren't having a lot of pain or heavy bleeding, waiting a week and rechecking the sonogram is probably best. ...Read more

6wks pregnant, no gestational sac in tubes or uterus based off 2 u/s. 5 weeks hCG level at 1100, at 6wks 1900. Possible i ovulated later & see sac soon?

6wks pregnant, no gestational sac in tubes or uterus based off 2 u/s. 5 weeks hCG level at 1100, at 6wks 1900. Possible i ovulated later & see sac soon?

It's possible. . .: Usually we see a gestational sac in the uterus by the time your HCG level is 1200, but it's harder to see in the tubes. The HCG level also usually doubles every 2-3 days, and yours only went up a little over the course of a week. So those are both concerning signs. Even if your timing is off, the numbers are odd. Did anyone check a Progesterone level? That can help us with a diagnosis sometimes. ...Read more

Not yet...: ...able to tell. 70% rise in 2 days is normal, but it would be more reassuring to have seen a fetus at your ultrasound. The ultrasound should be repeated in about 1 week. ...Read more

At 20 weeks placenta was 2.2cm from os, 2 days of brown spotting. At 21 weeks placenta was 2.8cm from os. Chance of bleeding reduced as further away?

At 20 weeks placenta was 2.2cm from os, 2 days of brown spotting. At 21 weeks placenta was 2.8cm from os. Chance of bleeding reduced as further away?

Placenta moving: a low lying placenta beyond 20 weeks is placenta previa placing you at risk for NOT being able to have a normal delivery but usually the expanding uterus "pulls" the placenta up with it so that it clears the cervix - just as yours is doing. As it move further away you should have less chance for bleeding good luck ...Read more

Yes: With an HCG that high you are almost definitely pregnant. The only concern would be that you could possibly have an ectopic or tubal pregnancy. Be sure to follow up with your OB. If you develop severe increase in the pain or severe bleeding, go to the ER. Hope this helps! ...Read more

By LMP I am 7 weeks pregnant. Ultrasound at 6 weeks 3 days showed irregular sac, no heartbeat or yolk etc. No flow around sac. Hcg rising. Miscarriage?

Early pregnancy: It's too soon to be sure what is going on. Often a woman will ovulate later and the lmp will not be accurate. The best option is to repeat the beta-hcg every 48 hours until 3 results are performed and a repeat ultrasound 1 week after the previous was done. That will usually solve the question. ...Read more

A good chance: Its not possible to predict the future in your specific case; however, a cerclage has been shown to reduce pre-term birth in women with a short cervix. Progesterone supplementation is another intervention that can also help. Best wishes! ...Read more
