I'm cd12 today a utrasound showed 10mm uterus thickness I usually ovulate cd15/16 will my lining be to thick when I ovulate. ?
Uterus enometrial thickness 11.1 mm .Is it harmful ? What is the ideal range and periods affect the lining.
Most likely normal: At your young age the uterine lining thickness fluctuates considerably depending on your cycle. It is thinnest right after menses and may be only a few mm. After ovulation and up to menses it can be over 1 cm. It sounds like you might be in the second half of the cycle. Maybe polyp? period?: First of all, be sure you were not pregnant. but if that is neg, then you likely shed a polyp. sometimes the whole uterine lining sheds ( called a cast..) but unclear why that would happen just at that time. unclear if you were due for your period. Your doc should have explained all of the possible causes to you, could be from too much estrogen building up benign tissue, could be form intrauterine polyps or fibroids, could be from pre-cancer- hyperplasia or endometrial cancer if you were my pt i would do an in office hysteroscopy and biopsy to r/o anything bad and then i can rec txmnent, hopefully your doc does this in the office. ...Read more
