My wife had a miscarriage. As a result of further cauterisation her uterus got 3 times bigger. What is the best way for recovery back to normal?
Need more info: When women have miscarriages, they often have d&cs afterward. Cauterization implies heat... Like an endometrial ablation (something your wife is too young for). An enlarged uterus without fibroids is typically adenomyosis (similar to endometriosis). The best treatment for adenomyosis is hormone management with birth control pills, or shots. Definitely speak to a doctor if you or she is worried.
Hpv treatment: Some people who have changes in the cervix because of HPV will be offered what is called a loop electrical excision procedure, or LEEP, which is when a doctor will cut out a piece of the cervix and cauterize what is left in order to remove the area that can become cancer if not treated.
How long does the test good for? How many years? I had a test done in october. Cardiac cauterization how long is this test good for. Is it done every year
Combination: Usually narcotics are given (tylenol (acetaminophen) with codiene, vicodin, percocets, etc). Take these as recommended but remember you can also take Ibuprofen or naprosyn (advil or aleve) and the combination work better together. Try to move around, avoid over-exerting yourself, & call your doc if your pain is worsening. Sometimes a change in meds helps also. Take good care of yourself.
Variable: Pain is relative and what one person says is a slight twinge may be quite painful for another. That said, I usually apply a topical anesthetic first. This tends to make the procedure more comfortable.
Maybe, maybe not: U can do a laparoscopic sterilization by cautery or clips or other ways, either way is old fashioned, the newer safer way that I do 99.9% of all my sterilizations on my patients is in office - adiana (for about another month, until I run out of catheters) or in office essure- both are easy, my pts stay awake, takes 5 minutes, no cutting, only miss 1/2 day of work, u can read about it online.

Can you please name a drug that can prevent nosebleed after cauterization? Cauterization was done more than one time but nosebleed starts over time.
None: There is no medication that can prevent nosebleeds. Keeping your nasal mucosa hydrated with humidified air can help, and sometimes applying a thin layer of petroleum ointment to the inside of the nose can prevent the mucosa from drying out and bleeding.See 1 more doctor answer

Where is mark?: That would depend on what the mark looks like and where it is. Also when and for what reason did you have a nasal cauterization?
Nose cautery: After nasal cautery, you really want to let the nose heal. Try to avoid blowing your nose for 2-3 days, longer if more bleeding stirs up after cautery. Keep the nose moist with saline, too. This facilitates the healing if the lining of the nose after treatment. You can also prevent drying of the nose by putting a little vaseline just inside the openings if the nose.
