Not a fan...: I am not aware of any adverse effects on pregnancy from tree oil products. They are derived from the indian "neem" tree which was thought to have ayurvedic antiseptic properties... Unfortunately a large percentage of indians suffer from severe periodontal disease anyway... Coconut oil and olive oil are safe in pregnancy. Topical vitamin E oil is felt to be safe, but may cause contact dermatitis in some people, as can topical aloe vera.
"When in doubt, leave it out" applies in pregnancy.
