Using Thieves Oil In Pregnancy
When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
No...: No. Condoms, birth control pills and other hormones, spermicides, abstinence prevent pregnancy.
Lubricant: No. Absolutely not. This question is a first for me. Sperm are pretty strong!
Camellia: Best rule is not to use anything unless it has been ok ed by your OB doctor.
Probably fine: Flax seed is a source of omega 3 fatty acids, but there is a debate on whether or not they are a good source when compared to fish oil. You might want to check and see what percentage of DHA and omega 3's your prenatal pill has though. The prenatal vit. May have sufficient amounts that flax seed oil is unnecessary. Pregnancy is one of those times when you can get too much of a good thing

Is it safe to use lemongrass essential oil in a diffuser (inhaled) in pregnancy? Someone had it on and I was there for 10 minutes. Should I be worried?

No one knows 4 sure: No research is done on humans on safety of most medicinal substances during pregnancy. National Institutes of Health says "Tea tree oil is POSSIBLY SAFE when applied to the skin...it is LIKELY UNSAFE if taken by mouth" during pregnancy. See http://www. Nlm. Nih. Gov/medlineplus/druginfo/natural/113.html No one knows for sure. I'd avoid during 1st trimester but small amounts on skin prob. OK later on.
Nobody really knows: Over-the-counter fish oil pills are usually gelatin capsules of omega-3 fish oils with some other fish oils mixed in. They are free of mercury and other toxins if they are properly purified, so it is important to choose a trustworthy brand (VERY HARD to verify testing or research). If taken at the normally recommended doses by a pregnant or breastfeeding mom, fish oil should not cause problems.
48 hours: Usually about 48 hours but some times it might take an extra day or two.
Is fish oil good? And can I take fish oil and prenatal together? Also is this good before pregnancy?

Primrose oil 200 mg I was taking it from 15 till 26 weeks of pregnancy. I did not know that was not recommended. How it can affect a baby?
No fetal effects: Sandra, there is no evidence that it hurts your baby. There is also no evidence it works during pregnancy either. Some have advocated it's use in pregnancy to keep blood pressure normal, or to help labor. None of these claims are proven. There are no well conducted studies on it in pregnancy but reported use has NOT found any adverse issues. Take your prenatal, stay hydrated, and eat healthy.
