More time: Paracetamol should be given at the proper dose at least 4 times a day and for 2-3 days. If there are other signs of problems like a significant fever, or any drainage from the ear or severe pain an exam would be indicated. Many ear infections will pass without antibiotics, but a doctor can always tell more by looking at the ear. Read more

Irrigation: The oil may have solidified and is attached to either the ear canal skin or even the ear drum. Try 3% hydrogen peroxide, 4 times a day (dropper full) for a week. Unfortunately, no: Risk of middle ear infection increases during the process of resolving upper respiratory viral illness. However, infection is not the only cause of ear pain. A good physical examination with experienced pediatrician that knows your daughter is needed. For true otitis media, there is no substitute for antibiotics. Need diagnosis: If you push in front of the ear, you may have a problem with the jaw joint. Another possibility is the use of a Q-tip may be irritating the skin of the external ear canal causing external otitis, which is an infection of the ear canal skin. Stop using instruments to clean your ear canals. I presume the term "no-hole ear" means you have no perforation of the ear drum. Read more

TMJ: Most common cause of ear pain not due to ear problems is TMJ. See ENT doc. If ears negative, see TMJ doc. Any dentist can be a TMJ expert with the proper training and experience.
