Using Opk How Do Know What Day Ovulated
I have a question about detection of ovulation with a opk? I started using the clear blue digital ovulation test 20pk day 6 of my december cycle to try and catch my LH surge. I tested twice everyday, once at 1p the other about 10p. The first time i detect
I : I agree with the rep that the 1st day that you detected a surge most likely represents your true lh surge. The cramps that you described are often experienced by women that ovulate but their timing is less specifically related to the exact time of ovulation. Implantation is usually not associated with discomfort. Cramping pain lasting more than 2 days is less likely to be related to ovulation but may be common when ovulation inducing drugs are used or patients have other underlying condition such as endometriosis. Keep in mind that there is only about a 20% chance of conception each cycle under optimal conditions. If you have proven past fertility and continue to ovulate you should have an excellent chance of conception within a few cycles. If you are not pregnant within 3 or 4 months or over 35, other testing should be considered. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Yes: Although it is not common, it is possible. For women with decrease ovarian reserve, sometime ovulation can occur even earlier. The reason that happen is due to elevated fsh level, which stimulate follicle growth and ovulation occurs earlier than the mid of the cycle. But for you, if that only happen occationally, should not cause concern. ...Read more

Three days in a row of positive opks (nondigital). Temp didn't spike until two days after the THIRD day of pos opk. When did I ovulate?
Not specific: The spike noted in the urine is the LH surge, which occurs about 24 hours before ovulation. The temp change is very non-specific and can be affected by a lot of things. You can probably look back to see when ovulation occurred by when your period starts, which should be 14 days after you ovulate. ...Read more

I am on cycle day 125 and have not ovulated as far as i know (been using opks) and the inside of my vag is purple. No sign of menzies. What is wrong?
Trust the pain: I would err on trusting the pain. But, if you are trying to get pregnant the issue is not the specific day, but getting sperm into the vagina on the five days before ovulation. So, whether ovulation occurs on the 21st or 22nd, you should be getting exposed to sperm on the 16th through the 22nd. ...Read more
