Hi, I have gout and need feedback on whether the following food items can flare up gout:? Nuts, white eggs, pomegranate, spinach, wheat bread, honey.
Honey and cinnamon: They taste good.Get a more detailed answer ›
No: There is no medicinal benefit from eating cinnamon and honey.
Nothing: Put them on your breakfast toast in the morning and call your dentist for an appointment. Mostly toothaches need physical intervention and not purely pharmacological or herbal remedies.See 2 more doctor answers
None: It might taste good. But there are no proven benefits in Psoriasis.
Are the claimed benefits of honey and cinnamon a hoax? Do honey and cinnamon have any real health benefits?
Many benefits: Both cinnamon and honey have many proven significant health benefits. Cinnamon is esp. Good at controlling blood sugar & has many other benefits- a good summary of research is at http://cinnamonvogue. Com/cinnamoncommonuses. Html honey also has many benefits, esp. When raw & is valuable topically for wounds. It has many benefits when eaten but should be used in moderation. See http://bit. Ly/1aporiw.
I've read that 1tbsp of honey and 1 tblsp of cinnamon w/cup of hot war has many health benefits. Is this true or just a hype.
Innocent dosages: These along with a huge list of products have a history of being touted as having health benefits. There is ;probably no harm in what you describe but no evidence to support health benefits from these.
Both taste great: They have a lot of minor medical uses but there are better choices for anything they claim to treat.
Moms Chicken soup: It does not help but can keep you in comfort zone.
I've read that 1tblsp honey and 1tblsp cinnamon w/cup of hot water has many health benefits. Is this true?
It depends: I doubt you'll find scientific evidence as to the health benefits. That doesn't mean it is hype. A lack of evidence doesn't exclude the possibility of significant benefit. I find it best to have supplements tailored to the individual. In the U.S. naturopaths are often the best bet. If you have access to a good herbalist & I have a bias toward Chinese Medicine. I have had a clear discharge now for 2-3 months, but no odor, pain not anything. Should I be worried? I have tried some remedies like honey+cinnamon

No: Only if you like the taste, but they do nothing to help your thyroid. Don't get your medical information from friends, tv or the internet. The only treatment for hyperthyroidism is radioiodine or anti-thyroid medication.
