Using Dermovate Cream On Face Is Good
Hi doc, just want to ask if its good to continue use of dermovate cream for my face, I have some redness in my face and rashes.
I used dermovate cream since 2012. Now my skin become sensitive when I stop this cream my face looks with red pimples and looks burned. So please help me how can I get good skin with out this cream help please?
Second opinion: I routinely recommend discontinuing ineffective treatment. If you are having trouble with discontinuing and have underlying skin issues that could benefit from another cream, then a trusted dermatologist should be able to help. If you need a referral, ask people you know for the name of a dermatologist who will spend the time to discuss and explain their diagnosis/treatment/outcome expected.See 1 more doctor answer
First of all am thanking for your help. My question is I used dermovate cream for several years and I need to quit this cream, and I tried for weeks but my face look worse what can I do please help.
Not for face: Clobetasol should not be used on the face. Sounds like you have a condition caused by steroid on the face. Technical term is "perioral dermatitis" or periorafacial dermatitis". It features red pimples with a narrow clear area around the mouth. Clobetasol makes it temporarily better but it rebounds worse. You will get worse until you stop it, even though it is worse when you first stop. CalcineurinSee 1 more doctor answer
Yes, but Expensive: Unlike most conventional moisturisers, physiogel contains ceramide and other physiological lipids that help replace moisture and repair the skin’s damaged lipid barriers. These ceramide moisturisers can be fairly expensive, but some patients get very good results. Make sure you are practicing good skin hygiene measures in addition to daily moisturization.
See a doctor: Not sure exactly what is meant by "allergic dark reaction face" at any rate a doctor will help you better with hisory and physical exam, goodluck
Diagnosis impt: If the area is itchy, initial benefit might be obtained with 1% hydrocortisone (HC) twice daily for 10 days. However there are conditions such as rosacea, contact dermatitis, and other lesions such as pre-cancers which will not respond to this effort...so a visit to a specialist is recommended if the HC fails to help.
Retin A (tretinoin).: But the most important cream to use is sunblock, it should be used rain or shine to prevent sun damage and the appearance of aging.
Moisturizers: Moisturizers often do no more than cause acne. If you are trying to make your skin smooth, I suggest using an aquaglycolic tonor or astringent. This will remove the debris from the skin that makes the face seem rough.
Depends on skin type: This is not an easy answer and it really depends on your skin type and sensitivities. I generally recommend Lubriderm, Cetaphil or Eucerin with SPF
Not sure what face: Wish is? What are you using night cream for? What is your dermatology history, and any skin problems? How long have you been using the product, and are you familiar with it's active ingredient on the label? This would be helpful, so we can assist you. Please resubmit more information. Thanks!
Dermatologist: I would see dermatologist to diagnose correctly.See 1 more doctor answer
What creams are good from cvs/walgreens/walmart that clear up psoriasis really good! It's now now covered my face!
Do not use: Stay away from home remedies and see a dermatologist instead.
Hi doctors. Medication toner and betamethasome and gentamycin cream are good for face? What should apply first of these med?
What's it for?: This is the old-fashioned "valisone " cream for some of the eczema-type problems on the face. This is a prescription medication with very narrow indications. The Betamethasone can make infections worse; the gentamicin is worthless in the absence of infection. Unless you're doing this under the guidance of a physician who knows exactly what he/she is doing, put it away.See 2 more doctor answers

ACNE AND SCARS: THIS PROBLEM SHOULD BE SEEN BY A DOCTOR PREFERABLY A DERMATOLOGIST. I CANNOT SEE WHAT YOU HAVE EXACTLY. BEST LUCK.

Tell me which face whitening or sun protecting lotion or cream good for men's skin (please tell me product that easily is available in every store)?
How long do you typically have to leave a lotion cream on your face for full absorption. I know it depends on ingredients but what's a good average?
Well. ..: Unfortunately, there isn't a hard and fast rule of thumb on this. .. Quite a few chemicals cannot actually penetrate the skin at all, while others can only penetrate the epidermis and don't actually make it any further. Also, depends on the "vehicle" that is used as a base in order to facilitate entry. Wish there was a better answer. .. Hope that helps!
