Using A Laptop During Pregnancy
When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. Can using a home fetal doppler harm my baby and is there a limit of use to be safe i'm 16 weeks preg?
Unlikely an issue: The past studies of doppler use have shown no negative effects. If repeated studies take up your time and take you away from other productive activities, i would consider it more a negative to your lifestyle than a problem for baby. However, for the remainder of the pregnancy the fetus could be severely injured or killed by a fall from a bike (even a peddle bike). ...Read more

Is the use of a hand held sports vibrating percussion massager safe to use on back during pregnancy? My wife is currently only 7 weeks pregnant.
Best avoided: It may be safe, but probably better to avoid it. It's almost impossible to do studies of these sort of things. I doubt it would strike hard enough to do damage, but it's never a good idea to subject a pregnant woman to too many vibrations or hard knocks, due to a very small chance of tearing the placenta. Odds are, she would be fine, but why take unnecessary risks? ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
