Rash or welts?: I don't know if you are referring to rashes (which tend to be raised or scaly lasting > 1day) or hives (which are raised bumps lasting for a few hours at a time). If it is an itchy rash, topical cortisone cream may help. If it is hives, then antihistamines may help. How do I differentiate cholinergic urticaria with miliaria rubra?I got rashes all over my body only after a few weeks of excercise.
CU changes rapidly.: Cholinergic urticaria (cu) will change within a few hours, if not, within a day; comes on more rapidly and leaves more rapidly. Cu will blanch. Taking a hot shower can bring cu instant on. Antihistamines done aggressively will help cu but not so much the heat rash of miliaria rubra.
