Rash or welts?: I don't know if you are referring to rashes (which tend to be raised or scaly lasting > 1day) or hives (which are raised bumps lasting for a few hours at a time). If it is an itchy rash, topical cortisone cream may help. If it is hives, then antihistamines may help. Cortisone takes several hours and antihistamine about an hour to work. ...Read more

CU changes rapidly.: Cholinergic urticaria (cu) will change within a few hours, if not, within a day; comes on more rapidly and leaves more rapidly. Cu will blanch. Taking a hot shower can bring cu instant on. Antihistamines done aggressively will help cu but not so much the heat rash of miliaria rubra. Urticaria: It's difficult to tell if you truly have cholinergic urticaria from your description. Usually urticaria is raised. See allergist and dermatologist: Your symptoms and clinical picture suggests to different diagnosis as -either simple allergic condition ,or connective tissue disease,lupus erythrommatosus .You should be further investigated as blood test and may be skin biopsy may give clue to diagnosis .Avoid sun exposure ,taking anti allergic medication and steroids may help .Consult the dermatologist ...Read more
