Akaline urine: May indicate risk or possible UTI. Though full dipstick or urinalysis is needed to reach any conclusions. The cloudy urine is associated with increased specific gravity and leukocytes may indicate concentration and UTI. It's not normal.: There are several possibilities but a ph of 9.0 is very high. Possibilities include: diet breathing issues uti gi issues toxicities medications you're taking (including supplements and otc meds) renal issues like renal tubular acidosis you really need to have it checked again and compare it to blood work.
Depends: 5.0 urine ph probably not an issue. Trace occult blood should be investigated and explained.
What does high urine pH 7.5-8.5 that fluctuates a lot mean? Is it bc I drink a lot of water or systemic alkadosis?
Alkalotic urine: Why are you so preoccupied with the ph of your urine? It seems that you are having repeated urine analyses to assess your urine's ph. Water intake does not, per se, make your urine alkalotic. Causes of an alkalotic urine are: urinary tract obstruction, pyloric obstruction, salicylate intoxication, renal tubular acidosis, chronic renal failure and respiratory failure. Do you have one of these?
Urine pH was 9. Past results: 7.5 in 2/13, 6.5 in 3/13 and 7 in 10/13. Likely lab error, diet or something else? All other labs were normal.
Yes: Very much so. We've just visited; get some pH strips and have fun. You'll discover the tremendous variability -- it's your kidneys doing fine-tuning so you don't have to worry about your blood pH and can do the things you enjoy.See 1 more doctor answer

My urine pH has dropped from 7.0 to 5.5, is this normal. (Shortness of breath and palpitations as well)?
Not enough to test: Qns translates to quantity not sufficient. It means there was not enough volume of the sample for the test to be run buy the method the lab uses to confirm the result.
What is cause of high urine ph? It's always high normal (alkaline) or out of range on high side. Eat lots of fruits. Something to worry about?
Usually related. ..: Alkaline urine ph of 7-8 is usually related with uti, vegetarian diet, metabolic alkalosis caused by vomiting, the use of steroids or diuretic drugs, or the overuse of antacids or laxatives., and bears no harm as long as having no UTI and being comfortable; if so, no need to worry. But in doubt, check with doc timely for individual condition.
