Urine Dribbling After Urination
When i urinate and 'stop', urine frequently keeps dribbling out... For minutes after. It is embarrassing. Is it a prostate problem?
Possibly: This problem occurs in between 12 and 65% of men--at all ages, not just older men--depending on the study. It's most commonly embarrassing, not serious. Pelvic floor exercises --yes, the same kind women are taught! or in yoga classes -- will help. That said, you ought to rule out a condition affecting the prostate, as you suggest. An (unpleasant) digital exam can tell alot, if not everything. ...Read more

No Matter How You...:
Post void dribbling(pvd) results from incomplete contraction of the muscles around the urethra(urine channel). This results in urine that, with movement, can leak out.

My friend has a little urine dribbling(dripping) problem after urine the urine dops come out slowly slowly. What disease is this?
Here are some ...: Due to variation of urethral anatomy and the strength of muscles around the urethra (bulbourethral muscles) among men and during lifetime of aging, as a result, the "last" drops of urine inside urethral tube beyond the prostate could not be naturally "squeezed and drained" out by the contraction of bulbourethral muscles so postvoid dribbling of urine occurs.
