Rbc and WBC casts in urine. Right flank pain. No fever. Pyelonephritis diagnosis but dr told me he wasn't sure that maybe something more going on. Ideas?
This is serious: A nephrologist or pathologist needs to look at the urine to confirm the presence of red cell casts. If they are indeed present, you have glomerulonephritis of some sort. Huge question: Blood in urine can = kidney disease, tumor anywhere from kidney, down to urethra, urinary tract infection, blood vessel abnormality or benign. Bilirubin is urinary bile & can indicate liver disease (hepatitis) or blocked bile ducts from gallstone/s, tumor or stricture. Casts - hyaline normal, granular or cellular = kidney disease. Did urine mlds test and the result is epithelia cells (+), pus cell (0-2hpf), bacteria (+), cast(+), debris (+). Please am I ok?

epithelial cells- 3-5 seen
rbc, crystal, cast, microorganism are nil

Epithelial cells - 2-3/hpf
Pus cells - 8-10/hpf
RBC - 1-2/hpf
Casts - absent
Crystals - absents
Bacteria - absents
Urine test is normal or not ?
From a Urinalysis test, a high protein count, with high(ish) numbers of squamous cells and UA hyaline casts were found. My urine has cloudy and odor.
