Well I think you: Are saying your gradad has BPH and uses foleys to empty his bladder but he is still peeing thru his penis. Well using foleys does not mean you cannot pee thru your penis. Yes, u need 2: Go in secondary toa post op fever. You also have significant constipation. U might try miralax (polyethylene glycol). No nausea or vomiting? It could b from the foley(the fever) but try MiraLAX (polyethylene glycol) 2x per day. It's unusual to be constipated thatblongunless u r easily constipated or are requiring a lot of narcotics.
