I assume these are: CT findings. These mild changes are probably of no consequence, considering you have been using cath for so many years. These finding don't explain much. History worrisome: Thickening of the urinary bladder won't generally cause you to have 2 periods a month. However, I see from your history that you have had a hysterectomy for stage 3 cervical cancer. Bleeding twice a month after a hysterectomy is worrisome, especially after stage III cervical cancer. This is abnormal. The thickened, trabeculated wall can be caused by the bladder working against an obstruction. Is there difficulty urinating? A tumor or cancer is a possibility, but sounds unlikely. Just the "response" of bladder muscle to the obstruction from your prostate gland...it's like any MUSCLE if it has to work harder it will increase in bulk! The "worrisome" part is the enlargement of the gland. There is effective MEDICATION for this and (naturally) prostatic cancer should be ruled out!
