5 days appendicitis type symptoms. Normal US and Lab Tests. Mild infection on urine analysis. Ureter infection suggested by Dr. But normal WBC?
Dr. Found white blood cells in urine under microscope. Dip and culture tests normal. Neg for infection or bac.
Ct scan was normal. No stones. ?
Several causes: Ok..White cells in your urine indicates your kidneys/ureters or bladder is inflamed. All inflammation does not necessarily mean bacterial infection. Viruses can cause this too. Now..A ct scan. A ct scan will only show "stones" if they are calcium or mineral based. Cholesterol stones will not show up like this. Interstitial cystitis can also be present exactly as you've described. ...Read more
Urinalysis results have three "flagged" areas: Urine Occult Blood - Trace; Urine RBC 4-6/HPF; and Urine Bacteria - Moderate. Cause for concern?
Urinalysis with microscopic exam says urine protein 30mg/dl and urine biliruban positive.says"comment:result confirmed" nxt to bili. no blood no dehy?
Need clarification: We need a lot more information on the type of protein, on the cell count, Cass, and other substance seen in the urine. You need to have the urine repeated, best first thing in the morning when your hydration allows a concentrated urine. You also need some blood testing to clarify and possibly further analysis. Your physician may have to send you to a nephrologist. ...Read more
Went for a microscopic urinalysis results - mucus present and urine culture- organisms recovered in low numbers. What do these mean? Infection?
Kidney labs normal. Dark yellow urine. Turbid. Keytones trace. Proteins 1+. Bacteria few. Amorphous sediment many. Rest of urine is normal, explain?
Urinanlys showed small amt of blood in urine microscopically. Will have it rechecked in 2 weeks. Urine showed everything else as normal. No infection.
Is this new?: You'll do well to have a follow-up, probably with imaging. Many people have this for a lifetime with no problems -- these people often have a mutated collagen gene that allows red cells to pass through the little filters in the kidneys. However, this finding is worrisome for stone, tumor etc if its a new finding at your age. Best wishes. Usually these things are manageable. ...Read more

Leukocytes in urine. Urine culture mixed urogenital flora 10,000-25,000. Frequent urination. Did not respond to antibiotic. What does this mean?
Mixed flora: Hi Ashley. If you have "mixed flora" in the urine - even with leukocytes (or white cells) - it may mean that the specimen was not a "clean catch" specimen. There are other signs in the test to help determine this. If an urinary tract infection (UTI) is still a consideration, a repeat urine test and culture could be considered. ...Read more
I'm 27 weeks pregnant. Urine culture showed mild mixed growth. Repeat culture showed same. What does this mean? Area was clean and midstream urine.
Symptoms?: Are you experiencing any urinary tract infection symptoms? Microsopic blood urine, pain when bladder full and after emptying reoccuring UTI what can this be urine culture normal bloods normal?
Did blood work and urine sample for woman physical exam. Everything came back normal except for "hemoglobin 1+" in urine sample. What could this mean?
Possibilities...: This means there was a small amount of microscopic blood in the urine sample. One of the most common reasons for a female is having your menses at the time the sample was obtained. Another common reason is if a catheter was inserted to obtain the sample. If neither of these explains it, it might be best to repeat the urine test and pursue further tests if the blood is still present. ...Read more

Could vaginal discharge contaminate a 24 hr urine test to give 0.42g of protein? Creatine tests normal.
Not significantly: Most OB's order 24 hour urine in pregnant hypertensivie patients and almost all pregnant patients have leukorrhea (pregnancy discharge). It is primarily mucous and not loaded with protein. While it might contribute a small amount , it still wouldn't matter because the cutoffs we use for preeclampsia are all based on pregnant women with similar discharge. ...Read more
