See below: After a c-section there may be some numbness in the midsection due to the irritation of some of the abdominal nerves by the operation. This numbness will slowly improve over time (months). The numbness in the back should resolve more quickly since it is probably due to the anesthesia. Get it checked out.: You've got to see a doctor and get this evaluated asap! you might have just pulled a few muscles back there and bruised yourself but you also might have done something to your neck vertebrae and so be one jolt away from a serious neurological injury.
