Not Uncommon: You could have a bruise from the injection of Heparin (to prevent blood clots) or from insertion or manipulation of the trocars used during the surgery. Alternatively, it could represent a little bit of oozing at the skin closure from the trocar sites. Most of the time this will go away in a week or so by itself. Abdominal bruising: Are you injecting yourself with insulin or other medication like blood thinners? Moving furniture? Bruising is serious. Could be liver abnormalities, renal abnormalities hemolysis, allergy to medication causing hemolysis. Need blood work, CBC with platelets, PT/PTT, liver panel renal panel, antibodies, Please seek medical attention at ER today ( they get the blood work back immediately) ...Read more
