Several thoughts: Might be cardiac, gastric, pulmonary or muscular. Is it affected by eating certain foods ? Does activity bring it on ? Any effect with certain movements of arms or chest ? Splenomegaly: If your spleen is enlarged there must be a reason for it. You should have a blood test called a CBC to check your blood cells, especially platelets. Also a cmp to check your liver function, since an enlarged spleen can sometimes be due to a liver problem. I Randomly get rib pain on my left side this happens maybe 4-5 times a day mostly when I'm sitting down ?

Left rib pain: May be reflux from stomach. or gas from colon ( it is that high up), may have food intolerances, avoid alcohol caffeine, energy drinks, smoking, consider trial of ranitidine or prevecid- if not allergic. may be costochondirits ( if you press does it hurt?) - rarely cardiac/pericarditis, or lymph nodes.
