Upper Body Tremors: Hello. No previous history prior to fractures of upper body tremors? What did his MRIs show specifically of his neck? Did he have one of his thoracic spine? Do tremors involve arms AND chest (torso)? Is this the 1st time he has taken Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl)? Tremor can be seen with Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl) but it is RARE. Tremors usually occur with overdose of Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl). Is he taking any narcotics too for pain control? ...Read more

Tremor in the young: Causes to think of include neoplastic, developmental and inherited (storage disease, wilson's etc). Mri is a good first step to rule out a brainstem tumor or structural problem e.g. Congenital brain malformation, aqueductal stenosis. If negative, CSF studies next to rule out an infectious or inflammatory process. Familial essential tremor can manifest early in life but is a diagnosis of exclusion. ...Read more

Response: Brachial neuritis causes fairly intense pain, and would be unlikely to cause tremors, but hyperthyroidism, some medications, recreational drugs, and heredofamilial essential tremors might be far better explanations. See a local neurologist. ...Read more

Very low:): With negative brain MRI, you should feel relaxed to have ruled out serious conditions like MS or any brain pathology. Possibilities: Tremors and weakness could be side effects of your anti-depressants or your immune system may be getting weaker.
Have a thorough blood test including thyroid function.
Consider seeing a neurologist.
