Trap strain: It could be that you have a trapezius strain. Use some warm compresses, gentle stretches and ibuprofen. If it is not resolving see your doctor. Rather you may have a condition where your autonomic nervous system is overly sensitized to the point of reacting TOO MUCH when there are changes in blood pressure, heart rate, or other forms of getting you excited.
