Likely not serious: Normal if U consumed asparagus before urinating. Also if urine is very concentrated due to low fluid intake. Worth getting a urinalysis, if foul smell continues, to rule out UTI. Most UTIs are not serious. ...Read more

Probable infection: of the urinary tract. It is extremely common in women and usually not serious, but this has been going on for awhile so you need to get a urinalysis and culture and get started on some treatment. Why would my urine have a very unusual odor? I have possible sarcoidosis in kidney per PET. No UTI symptoms. Very weak stream takes very long to void
