What if i had unprotected sex with my wife but didn't release inside. She took morning after pill on the same day.Is there any probability of pregnency?

Yes but low risk: There is definitely a risk of pregnancy with unprotected sex even without ejaculation in vagina, as the pre-ejaculation seminal fluid contains sperm. Morning after pills like Plan B are very effective. If you take it within 72 hours after you've had unprotected sex, Plan B one-step can reduce the risk of pregnancy by up to 89%. Within 24 hours, it is about 95% effective. Nothing is 100%. ...Read more

Are you worried that: you're pregnant? Have you missed any menstrual periods? Have you taken a home pregnancy test? If you used the "quick start method" when initiating BCP,'s, you should have been protected against pregnancy at the time of the incident. While there appears to be little risk of taking BCP's early in pregnancy, continuing to take them if you think you could be pregnant is a not a good idea. ...Read more

Yes, but not likely: Women who take their birth control pills correctly, are protected every day, all the time. They have no fertile days, so it doesn't matter what added birth control methods are used. Pregnancy is very unlikely. If still worried, one can do a home pregnancy test 3 weeks after sex. Tests are inexpensive and sold in stores everywhere. ...Read more

Pls am due for my period today 13th sept 2015 but is not yet out. I had an unprotected sex on 8/9 Sept 2015. Pls suggest pills to prevent pregnacy?

4 days out...: First, unless a woman is trying to have a baby, she must not have sex without a reliable form of contraception. Secondly, if she has sex, she should take an emergency contraceptive pill right away. It's known as a "morning-after" pill, but really should be a "minute-after" pill. At 4-days out, she can call her doctor now for an Ella pill; or ask about an IUD to prevent this and future pregnancies. ...Read more
