Uneven sun exposure: Normal skin responses to sunlight exposure--more exposure, it gets darker by producing more melanin. Thus areas covered by clothing is always lighter. A few things: I've been treating uneven skin tone for over 20 years the best treatment in my experience is a combination of topicals including tretinoin and hydroquinone, followed by a deep chemical peels. I think lasers overpromise and undeliver when it comes to skin tone. Restoring healthy skin will correct the color problem. See a plastic surgeon who loves skin care or a dermatologist.
