However, some breast tissue occasionally extend to the are of the axilla (underarm) and i think the pressure you are referring to must be coming from that area. Unlikely.: This is more likely to be from infection/irritation of your breast from nursing/feeding. There are lymphatic ducts that lead to the armpit from the breast/nipple area. If the breast does not get better with warm wet cloth massage, see your doctor. ...Read more

However, if there is an identifiable "vein", your assessment may be correct. Regardless, you should report this to your primary doctor or your ob/gyn physician.
