I'm kerry I'm 37 .I take citilopram antideppressants for past 9 years .I'm trying to come off slowly redusing I get anxiety but not as bad as panic disorder like years ago .I've got underactive thyroid which got diegnosed 1 year ago I've started treating
SSRI Weaning....: Coming off SSRI's after 9 years is difficult to do. As you come down on them, you will experience feels of "anxiety" and withdrawal, naturally. I don't know your current dosage, but assuming you are coming down from a high dose of citalopram, (they come in 80, 40, 20, 10 mg), you need to be under the supervision of a doctor while weaning down.
