Type 1 diabetes: Unless you allowed yourself and your type 1 diabetes to lose 35 lbs there is very likely to have something in your system that needs attention. An ultrasound alone won't give the answer. I hope your doctor has ordered appropriate lab tests and possibly xrays. ...Read more

If increasing in size, or painful, you need to see a general or ortho surgeon for eval and likely work up or excisional biopsy.
