Am HIV negative though from Uganda.

Am HIV negative though from Uganda.

Unclear question: If you did not engage in unprotected sex, drug abuse, sharing needles, or sex with men, and the HIV test was negative, you do not have HIV. To be sure, you may wish to get a HIV nucleic acid test in about 6 months. HIV does not spread through the air, so being from Uganda does not equate to HIV. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex. ...Read more

When the hiv test is conclusive?.what causes repeated perianal fungal infection?last hiv test 14monthes postexposure.is negative?

No worries: Every HIV test that exists, anywhere in the world, is conclusive by 3 months. The most commonly used tests are conclusive by 4-8 weeks. For sure your negative result at 14 months proves you don't have HIV, no matter how high risk the exposure (and if not reexposed), and no matter how typical the symptoms. Entirely healthy people often get perianal fungal infections; it's not a sign of HIV. ...Read more

Tb blood tested negative but TB skin testd positive, what is that mean? Continuous low grade fever, swollenlumpnodes, sore thrt, HIV PCR RNA negative.

Contradictory Tb tst: Quantiferon-TB(the blood test) and the PPD(skin test) are not recommended together. The quantiferon test has more sensitivity/specificity(measures for how good medical tests are) but the gold standard is culturing the bacteria from either tissue or sputum which should be attempted if their is clinical suspicion for TB infection. ...Read more

IMy HBV test results (red cross): Hepatitis B Surface Antigen: Nonreactive; Hepatitis B Core Antibodies: Reactive; HBV PCR: Negative. Do I have HBV?

Cured, but...: If a person's Hep B surface antigen is nonreactive, that means the lab does not find pieces of the surface of the virus. If her Hep B virus PCR is negative, that means the lab does not find the virus's DNA (genes). If the core antibody is reactive that means her immune system REMEMBERS being infected with Hep B. She is cured, but some viral DNA might be attached to her own human DNA in her liver. ...Read more
