Doesn't sound like m: Mumps is usually swelling of the parotid glands, not the neck. You may have a throat infection or swollen glands from mononucleosis. Appropriate cultures and blood tests would be helpful. ...Read more

Don't fly when ill: It's not good sense to fly to a new environment where you might not know anyone. Get to you family physician asap. Any thing could be the cause including pregnancy. It's not a good idea to be so nauseated in an airplane. ...Read more
