Oligohydramnios: just means there is less amniotic fluid in your gestational sac than normal. Continue to drink liquids plenty and hope for the best. Possibly but u need: To discuss this at length with your OB because u will need increased frequency of ultrasound because if the fluid becomes too low or the baby is not growing properly you will need early delivery by csection but this will be determined by your OB and I am sure your OB will be having u seeing a perinatologist also. ...Read more

Diagnosis : Obviously both of those are negative signs at this gestational age. If not done already, asked to be referred to a perinatologist for a evaluation. See perinatologist: Its frightening to have an ultrasound that gives news that isn't perfect. Oligohydramnios means that there isn't enough fluid around the baby. You can help make more fluid by drinking lots and lots of water and getting enough rest. You need to see a perinatologist to find out why.
