Ovarian cysts.: If an ovarian cyst ruptures, it coul cause some fluid. It is not possible to see adhesions on ultrasound, generally, so I am not sure about that. ...Read more

Probably ok: Small cyst are not uncommon and can cause pain. The thickening of the uterus can be related to your cycle (it varies throughout the month) at the time of the scan. If your cyst is stable in size over the last year and the pain is tolerable, probably not much to do about it. Just watch it. ...Read more

Maybe: You do not mention how large or small it is. A large simple cyst can be painful just as a small one. If it does not respond to treatment and it is still painful, there may not be that many options left other than take it out. ...Read more
