Hi I wanted to know if you can get pregrant with a enlarged uterus. In November I was giving a ultrasound and everything was okay. 3 kids c -section?

Yes, you can: Since you have clearly demonstrated your fertility, your chances of getting pregnant again are fairly good. However, If you had 3 Cesarean deliveries. It would be wise to schedule a pre-pregnancy consultation with an obstetrical team experienced in caring for women like you.

Could be normal: You don't indicate in your question the gestational age of your pregnancy. The measurements youy gave are a normal sized uterus. As your pregnancy progresses the uterus enlarges. So, in an early pregnancy, this could be normal.

I'm pregnant and I had to get a sonogram of my kidneys. How can they see if big uterus?

I'm pregnant and I had to get a sonogram of my kidneys. How can they see if big uterus?

Through the back: Sonogram of kidneys is usually done with probe on back, so see kidneys thru back, not thru belly. Since uterus is low and in front, it should not get in way of pictures of kidneys/upper ureters very much.

I did an ultra sound for my bleeding problem and the dr said that my uterus size is big 14 CM and did pregnancy test = negative. Wondering why..

Not sure: The most likely cause for an enlarged uterus and heavy bleeding is fibroids. They are benign, smooth muscle rumors of the uterus that are found in 20%of women. Would ask your doctor for more details.

Told I have a bicornuate uterus at my 11w2d ultrasound, but dr didn't want to discuss until my 18w u/s. Should I decrease my 50min 5x/wk lap swims?

No need to change: If your physician has cleared you for moderate physical activity, you should be fine. Your bicornuate uterus should not place you at increased risk of pregnancy loss in your first trimester, but be sure to notify your physician if you note any changes.

What is shadow on uterus ultrasound?

Shadowing: Is an ultrasound term often seen behind calcification and some solid masses as a result of sound wave reflection. I don't know if this is what you are referring too. If used in some other context the term doesn't convey useful information.

What does a normal uterus look like on a transabdominal ultrasound?

Look here: Look here at transvaginal us image of the uterus: http://www. Conciergeradiologist. Com/ultrasound-images. Html.
