Cs delivery due to breech on my first child , now 8 months. Preggy had an ultrasound and babys position headdown is it going to be normal delivery?

Maybe, maybe not: Vaginal delivery after cs is possible but must be approached with a plan for both possibilities. Here a woman is watched through labor and if progressing well, will deliver from below. If there is any slow down or problems identified the delivery is planned with a double setup, wherein both natural delivery or conversion to surgical delivery can be done in minutes. ...Read more

What can I do if my abdominal ultrasound shows that my baby is in the breech position?

Wait it out: Babies do change positions during pregnancy so it could switch by next week. If it doesn't switch naturally, sometimes the OB can try a turning maneuver called a version to turn it., but this has some risks. If you go to full term as a breach expect a surgical delivery. ...Read more

If my baby was breech at my last two ultrasounds does that mean she will stay like that I am 23 weeks now?

If my baby was breech at my last two ultrasounds does that mean she will stay like that I am 23 weeks now?

Breech at 23 weeks..: Good news! breech at 23 weeks in no way predicts final presentation. She will be flipping/ turning more times than you will care to count over the next months and has lots of time to get into the ideal head first presentation before delivery! congratulations, and make that prenatal visit with pediatricians in your area if you don't have one picked out so you can find the right fit for you and baby. ...Read more

No worries: It is not at all usual for a baby to be in a breech position during the second trimester. Your baby still has plenty of room and plenty of time to turn over. The position of the fetus is always reported on ultrasound, but is not really reason for concern until the baby is getting bigger and close to delivery. Don't worry. If the ultrasound findings are normal, you are blessed. ...Read more

Not much: You could ask your doctor if he/she is willing to do an external cephalic version. This is a procedure where 1-2 doctors manually attempt to essentially flip your baby. Not all of us still do this. ...Read more

If till 35 or 36 wk of pregnancy baby is in breech position. Can baby still change its position. Can verginial delivery possible in breech babies?

Breech presentation: At 35-36 weeks there is still time for your baby to flip and become cephalic (head first). However after 38 weeks or so, it is very unlikely that your baby will flip. If your baby is breech at that time, a c-section is usually scheduled. ...Read more
