I have ulceritive colitis which has flared up. I have an 4cm section that is affected. Will that repair itself when i use medication?
Fulminant UC: Ulcerative colitis flares are challenging. If you have frequent flares and they respond to diet improvements (relation to diet non-compliance) then this flair might also respond to diet improvement. However, a uc flair can rapidly deteriorate to fulminant which is life threatening and requires emergent surgery. Best to check in with your doc.
