I have IBS and Crohn's disease. Today I'm experiencing sharp pains in my left upper abdomen, under ribs on left side and my back. Related to Crohns?
Could be: Unfortunately it can be hard to tell as many things can cause those symptoms. Have you had a crohn's flair in the past? If so, does it feel similar. Cuurently..Pcos...Ovaries -10 cysts on left, 15cysts on right. Stomach swollen/bloated, back pain. Hospitalized recently severe kidney infection.Help?
Likely not related: You haven't actually asked a question ... But these things are unlikely related. Kidney infection (pyelonephritis) has nothing at all to do with pcos. Back pain can go with pyelo, but abdomen swelling wouldn't. If your cysts are large that could give swelling, but even 20-30 small cysts would be un-noticeable. Abdominal pain: Right side pain under the ribs is usually gallbladder related- because of stones or a blockage of the gallbladder, or poor function. See a doctor: There is no specific syndrome or diagnosis that connects all these symptoms into one problem. Perhaps the pain on left "waist", rib area & back could be a strain, or even early shingles .. watch for blistering rash. Constipation with diarrhea could be infection. Pain in left leg .. who knows? Back pain on left: These symptoms can be a kidney stone or infection. If burning upon urination or blood seen in the toilet after urination is a sign of infection.
