EAT HEALTHY!: Low starch, little sugar, high fiber, plenty of water, good proteins in adequate amounts. And eat your colored veggies and greens. Eat what you like.: I would not recommend any supplement advertised as an immune booster. It is ok to eat any fresh foods or vegetables. There is no research evidence that any specific diet or food will cause significant worsening or omprovement in sle. ...Read more

Congratulations: on tapering to such a low dose! I haven`t ever encountered or heard of a patient that has lupus flares activated by food. When on prednisone, sometimes a diet low in sodium will alleviate any excess swelling. ...Read more

Don't eat those food: Processed foods are generally not healthy, as they tend to contain a lot of calories, sodium, additives, and preservatives, with little nutritional value. So I suggest avoiding those foods, especially since they also upset your GI tract. You can try an elimination diet to try to determine what you specifically do not tolerate, but that is difficult with processed foods with many ingredients. ...Read more
