BETTER : take 1 med: Robitussin (guaifenesin) contains category c drugs: Guaifenesin and dextromethorophan . Multi-symptom otc drugs are category c also meaning: there are no controlled studies in human pregnancy. These meds are recommended for use during pregnancy when there are no alternatives and benefit outweighs the risk. So it is best to just take 1 med for cough (e.g. Robitussin (guaifenesin)) rather than 4 or 5.
