Two Year Old Sweating During Nap And Sleep
Night sweats common for 22 year old female? Just started happening two nights ago. Don't disrupt sleep and haven't lost weight.
Hi I have a four year old son he breathes with his mouth open at night during sleep and snores a lot some nights ?
Time for an eval: The snoring is likely to get worse with time as the tonsils tend to grow faster than the kid at that age. If he hasn't already he can develop a sleep disturbance, sleep apnea, with prolonged spacing between breaths (>20sec) that are a problem. If you can record his snoring & take it to your pcp they will likely send you to an ENT or for a sleep study. A t&a is often curative. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
My 15 month old son has long frequent night wakings and never slept through night. He takes one good midday nap and goes to bed at the same time?
Sleep routines: All adults & kids wake in the night but most learn to resettle & most don't remember the event. An infant that never learned to start sleep alone is unlikely to do so in the night. Day naps should be limited to no > 2hrs or the kid can flip his day/night pattern.Shaping a bedtime routine that allows baby to unwind, listen to a story, but settle in bed alone can also improve this problem. ...Read more
My baby is we days old, sleeps during day and wakes during night . how to make him sleep at night and awake during day?
You can't, but you : can promote sleep consolidation at night between 1-4 months. Put him on his back in his crib with no loose bedding or items when he is drowsy, but awake to learn to self-calm to sleep. Babies cry out during light sleep; it's easier to wait till he's fully awake before feeding if you put him in his own room. See tips on healthy children.org. Play during daylight; minimize interaction at night. ...Read more

No: Generally, once an infant starts to sleep through the night (around 2 months) it is not necessary to wake the baby up to feed him/her, assuming the baby feeds well during the day, is wetting several diapers a day, appears healthy, and is growing well. It is important not to interrupt a healthy baby's sleep/wake cycle. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Two nights of having night sweats and I wake up drenched..I sleep naked lol and still sweat. Happens at least five to six times a month..Dont know tho?
Few things: Are the episodes random? Or are they clustered, happening night after night? If you are in your late 40's, and female with clustered sweats, this could be hormonal. If you are male, or younger female, or older female, or if the episodes are random, please see your doctor to get evaluated, as this could be something very serious, like lymphoma. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

My mother is 91 years old and recently complains of having short sleeps at night but takes naps during daytime. Can she take restoril (temazepam)? In what dose?
Maybe: But before considering any additional medication, your mother needs to be seen by her own physician. All these are important factors affecting how she is, and what's best to recommend. Also if she's taking naps in the day, it will interfere with night-time sleep. ...Read more
