One common meaning refers to the process by which an embryo attaches to the uterus of a woman so that she is pregnant. Many think of it as 'sticking.' implantation in humans always occurs when the embryo is between 6-7 days old. A very popular concept on the internet now in 2012, 'implantation bleeding, ' is speculative ...Read more
Implantation bleed: Implantation bleeding happens 6-7 days after ovulation. Ovulation for mos women happens between days 12-16 from the first day of the period, on average 14 days. Therefore implantation bleeding can occur sometime between day 18 at the earliest and 22 at the latest (days 19-20 for most women). Of course there are exceptions but this applies to most regularly menstruating women. ...Read more

Bleeding most often does not occur with implantation. If there is bleeding the amount is small. It may be small rust or brown colored drops or light pink swirled in white d/C. It usually occurs about ten days after ovulation. There is more blood w period. Take a HPT if you miss your period. ...Read more

If I spot for 3 day's is that implantation bleeding. Then it start back five days later spotting again what's going on?
Can do a preg. Test: A positive home urine pregnancy test can tell a woman that PRIOR spotting was actually implantation spotting. It can be hard to tell if she is pregnant because some of the symptoms seen in early pregnancy can also happen in non-pregnant women. A urine pregnancy test gives a reliable result about 3 weeks after sex, 1 week after missing a period, or 1 week after having a "weird" period. ...Read more
If I'm going through "implantation bleeding", and had a blood test done the same day it started would the blood test be positive?
Nature: There is no such thing as implantation bleeding. The landing of the microscopic sized fetus on the wall of the uterus is not traumatic and does not cause bleeding. Pregnancy tests are only positive after a fetus is big enough to have blood cells and chemicals that are high enough to be shared with the mother's body. That is at about fourteen days after conception. So, No. ...Read more

Thought I had implantation bleeding. Then I took multiple hpt 2, 3 and 4 weeks later all were negative. What's wrong? Not implanation bleeding?
Not pregnant, so...: If not pregnant, then the spotting or bleeding was not related to implantation. A woman need not think about implantation, because it matters only in hindsight. That means AFTER a woman confirms her pregnancy with a positive urine test, she can then look back and say, "That spotting I had could have been related to implantation." Until one is pregnant, there is no need to think about implantation. ...Read more
My LMP 11/25/13 my cycle was suppose to b 12/24/13 did not come came on 1/1/14- 5th I have a 30-35 cycle could it been implantation bleeding?
Probably not: A period that is a few days late is fairly common, especially if you often have cycles as long as 35 days. Implantation bleeding is usually much lighter than a normal period. The only way to know for sure is to do a pregnancy test: it should be accurate by about 2 weeks after you ovulated. ...Read more
When having light pink implantation bleeding, does it have to eventually turn brownish? I'm on day 3 of light pink on the toilet paper when I wipe.
Want A Boy Or Girl?: I don't think there's a law or executive order that mandates that implantation blood must turn brown. But the usual course of events"down there" is for blood that remains inside there for any good length of time to turn brownish. There are other reasons for light pink blood. But if you are mid-cycle and you're in the process of trying to get pregnant, then that's a good guess. It shouldn't last long ...Read more

I started spotting w/ 2 active pills left, it lasted a week. I normally start 3 days into inactive pills. I took 1 pill late. Implantation bleeding?
Probably not, but...: A urine pregnancy test, done correctly, gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a withdrawal period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon, and thus lead to a repeat test. ...Read more
