Blood test shows TSH w/ reflex to FT4 is 13.62 (high) & Free T4 is 1.1 (normal). How would you describe what these results mean?

Not likely.: Tsh in "normal" range so not technically hypothyroid. Some would argue that TSH should actually be lower. I would repeat this in a few months. If normal again would stop worrying. If abnormal diagnosis is clear. In any case eyebrow thinning is not likely due to this tsh. ...Read more

I agree to a point!: Tsh slightly elevated. Your body thinks your thyroid is low. The most common cause for hypothyroidism is hashimoto's thyroiditis, which can be indentified by the presence of anti-thyroglobulin antibodies and anti-tpo antibodies. Have these tests.
