Hi. Sudden spike in BP whilst resting. 211/185 pulse 72. Not anxious. Headache left sided and severe. Went down to 156/85 quickly. Why?
#'s probably wrong: I have never seen anyone have a blood pressure of 211/185. The bottom number (diastolic) is too high. I could believe 211/130, but 211/185 not possible in my opinion. Did you check the numbers with a home meter? The numbers are wrong. Go with the 156/85, that is more likely your real pressure, which is indeed high.
